The Kustom Kemps of America (KKOA) Leadsled Spectacular Car Show is July 29-31 at Oakdale Park. This is the 7th year for Salina to host the show, which has a tremendous impact on the community. An estimated 1200+ cars with thousands of people from throughout the United States will be in Salina during the event.
Volunteers are needed to help with the admission gates. Two-hour shifts are available beginning Friday at 8:30am, Saturday at 12:30am and Sunday at 10:30am. Admission to the show is $10-$12 per day, but volunteers will receive FREE admission.

Drawing a Tarot card at the beginning of the day is not a new idea. It is a gentle way of introducing you to the cards and stamping your own meaning onto them. Pulling a card at random, seeing what thoughts and ideas it brings to mind and then getting on with your day is a fascinating exercise. The power of this simple technique is only really evident in the evening or the next day when you review how the events of the last 24 hours have panned out and see how they relate to the card.

Being in a car show is an opportunity to see new models, if not, cool cars. It is also an opportunity for dealers and clients to meet.

As for a policy, I favor using modern day bounty hunters. Why should an illegal immigrant have greater rights than someone who has skipped bond? And seeing Dawg with a new tv reality show
